Sitting with my old mother and find out that she more and more loses her skill. There is plenty of time to think through her life and since she now cant speak, I must imagine what she thinks and why she acted so and so.
I see a life; using all, not throwout anything, take care of everything, repairing, create much of little. After a lifetime of high skills, it has now changed to a life without this. Inside my mother’s head, 2012, is about this and a psychotic relation to this; small thread stubs (leftovers) crocheted together with more or less success, as a catastrophe… I feel sad kindness of the situation…
Technique / Materials: Stiff canvas thread (leftovers) and crocheting.
Measurements: 20X15X15 cm
